Inside News is the newsletter of the committee for internally displaced Karen people (CIDKP) . Since 2000 CIDKP issues this quarterly newsletter “Inside News” publishing both in Karen and in English. CIDKP informs Karen people and the international community about the plight of IDPs and about human rights. Two thousand copies of each issue are distributed among IDPs, local and international NGOs and embassies in Thailand. The staff in the central office systematically collects information on the human rights abuses through field visits and via the information coming from township members, district members and the other two branch offices.
